I found a picture of this coffee table on Pinterest and thought it was very interesting. So I decided to make it.

The wood base is made out of select pine 2×2’s. I finished it with an oil stain to bring out the wood grain. The pieces are 18″ long cut from two 8′ lengths of pine.

I purchased the glass from the local ReStore. It’s 26″ in diameter and about 3/8″ thick.

The glass and the wood only cost $36 so it’s an inexpensive fun project to work on.
