This backyard waterfall was built from rocks purchased from a nearby Stone & Landscape company and driftwood gathered over time from walks down by the waterfront. I bought a small black plastic oblong-shaped tub from a hardware store to hold the water without leaking. The water pump is a small 3gpm unit that draws very little electricity.
The result is a nice looking waterfall that makes a pleasant splashing noise that sounds like rain at night. Even the neighbor said she likes the sound and it puts her to sleep. The water reservoir is large enough to hold small fish but we haven’t yet taken this step.
